Karen Whitney is an artist and entrepreneur living and working in Pasadena, CA.

She left the corporate world in March of 2006 to pursue her dreams. She has been devoting her time managing her business (Stili), as well as creating a non-profit orginization to honor her father (Mark's Manhattan Project), and working on various other projects for clients and friends.

She believes in looking at the beauty in life, and that kindness is a virtue, not a weakness. She loves to laugh, and is committed to looking at the positive side of life. These ideals are reflected in her work, which is greatly inspired by the beauty in nature.

She enjoys painting flowers and other elements of nature. She also enjoys writing and hopes to inspire other peaple to be the best they can be. She has recently started blogging (www.thoughtapex.com) on blissful positive thoughts. She knows that happiness is a choice, and that we each create our own reality, so it may as well be a happy one.
