Limited Editions

Limited Editions are very select Susan Rios images that have been chosen for reproduction in limited quantities or for a limited time only. After those quantities are sold, that image will no longer be available to be sold as a Limited Edition ever again. Each Susan Rios Limited Edition is an Iris giclee on canvas, hand signed by the artist. Giclée, pronounced |zhee-clay| means the spraying of ink, it comes from the French word "gicleur" translating to "nozzle". Each one is personally hand highlighted giving it the look and feel of an original painting; it is often impossible to tell the difference between a hand-highlighted piece and an original! Every piece comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. They are available framed and unframed, and each piece will always hold it's value and often time increase in value once the edition is sold out. • Artist's Proofs (A/P) have more extensive highlighting and a richer pallet • Artist's Editions (A/E) are the same size as the original painting, framed as the original and extensively highlighted by the artist. Signature and edition number are hand painted by artist.
